Player Draft Night

The parent meeting and player drafts will be held August 5th in the Champlin Park High School Auditorium. All parents and players should attend the meetings and are welcome to stay to observe the player draft, which will immediately follow each meeting.

The Parent Meeting and Draft Schedule is as follows:

3^rd and 4^rd Grade Mixed Weight: 6:00 - 7:00 pm.
5^th and 6^th Grade Weight Lmited: 7:00 - 7:30 pm
5^th and 6^th Grade Weight Unlimited: 7:30 - 8:00 pm
7^th and 8^th Grade Weight Limited: 8:00 - 8:30 pm

NOTE: The 7^th and 8^th Grade Weight Unlimited class has one team and will not have a draft.

Late and Final Registration:

Registration for the 2008 CDAA Football Season has closed. Thank you for your interest!

Rebels Youth Football Camps:

Will be held August 4th through August 8th from 10:00 AM to Noon, fees are $40 per participant. This is held at CPHS west of the school. Registration Forms can be picked up at one of our walk-in registrations, or go to the CPHS Football Website and go to clinics.

Football Jamboree and Pictures

The CDAA Football Jamboree is set for Saturday August 23rd at Andrews Park in Champlin. Andrews Park is located on the north side of 117th Avenue North a few blocks east of Winnetka Avenue. The Jamboree is also the Picture Date for all Tackle Football leagues. Flag football pictures will be scheduled at a later date.

Practices

Practices will start the week of August 11th, and games are likely to start the week of September 1st. Flag Football starts later and will end the weekend before MEA. All Flag Football games are on Saturday mornings.

Miscellaneous Information

Your $150 deposit check will be held until the end of the season. You will receive your check back when you have returned ALL your equipment in good condition and CLEAN. Please follow the instructions on each garment for proper cleaning. Using bleach may ruin the garments so please use non-bleach based stain removers. Soaking in mild detergent or stain lifters often removes heavier stains.

New this year:     you must also turn in an evaluation form to receive your deposit check back. It is very important that we know how the program is doing in the eyes of the parents and participants so we can improve. These forms will be read only by the CDAA Football Directors and NOT your coach. You may remain anonymous if you wish.

Coaching Applications:

Coaching applications are closed for 2008.

Playing Outside Your League

While we do not allow anyone to play down in a league, age or weight, we do on certain occasions allow a player to play up in a league. To do so parents/guardians must request this before sign-ups begin. A coach will also be contacted for input if possible. Decisions will be made by the CDAA Football Directors.
