Can I play "up" in an older age group?
- Players are encouraged to play in their own grade with their peers and classmates.
- Under certain occasions we allow a player to play up one league (never down).
- Parents/Guardians who wish their child to be evaluated in an older age group should make their request in writing to the Basketball Director as soon as possible. You may email your request to the Basketball Director at basketball@cdaasports.org
- Players MUST score in the top 25% of the evaluation group AND space must be available in that league to accommodate the player wishing to "Play Up".
- Exceptions to these stipulations are at the discretion of the Basketball Director due to league/team balancing.
Can I play CDAA Basketball if I don't make the traveling basketball team?
- Players trying out for traveling basketball are strongly encouraged to register for CDAA Basketball to be assured of a spot in the CDAA program in the event that the player does not make it on the traveling basketball team.
- Note: if the player makes the traveling team and requests a refund the player will be charged $10 to process the refund. You may view the availability of a program by clicking on the particular program.
